In the quiet hours of the night, small mysterious creatures emerge and begin their hidden adventures. They swim across dark lakes, leap on vast trampolines, and climb glowing volcanoes before disappearing again at sunrise. As the story unfolds, questions arise: Who are these creatures? Where do they come from?
And what secret connects their world to ours?
The Night Lemurs is a visually driven picture book built on atmosphere, rhythm, and gradual revelation. The narrative relies on pacing and repetition, allowing the illustrations to carry suspense and emotional progression.
The illustrations are created using coloured pencil, graphite, and soft pastel, resulting in a textured, nocturnal visual language with warm contrasts and delicate detail.
The project is fully developed, including complete spreads and cover design.
