This illustrated nursery wallpaper design features a small community of mice living among the roots and leaves of a beetroot garden.
The project focused on developing a narrative pattern that combines gentle storytelling with a calm and spacious composition suitable for children's rooms. Individual characters were illustrated as small scenes — reading, dancing, gathering, and caring for the garden — creating subtle moments of discovery within the repeating pattern.
From initial character sketches to the final seamless repeat, the design balances playful illustration with a clear rhythmic structure that works at large wall scale.
The final artwork was prepared as a 48 × 48 inch seamless repeat, optimized for wallpaper production and
large-format printing.
